Privacy Policy

VOQE ("we," "our," "us") provides an AI-powered coaching platform for endurance athletes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using VOQE, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

VOQE is operated by Adhiraj Singh, a sole founder based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, currently in pre-incorporation phase. We will update these terms when our entity is formed. You can contact us at coachvoqe@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect three categories of information:

Account information you provide directly

Your name, email address, age, sport focus, training experience level, race goals, weekly training volume, injuries or health conditions you choose to share, and any communications you send us.

Wearable and biometric data via authorized integrations

When you connect a wearable device (WHOOP, Garmin, Apple Watch, or others), we receive biometric and activity data from that device's API or platform. This includes:

  • Heart rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate
  • Sleep stages and sleep quality
  • Recovery and readiness scores
  • Workout details (duration, distance, intensity, GPS tracks where applicable)
  • Strain and training load metrics
  • Respiratory rate

We only receive data you have explicitly authorized us to access through that platform's standard authorization flow.

Usage and technical information

How you interact with the VOQE app and website, including pages viewed, features used, device type, browser, IP address, and approximate location (city level) for timezone and regional content purposes.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes only:

  • Generating personalized training plans, readiness scores, and AI coaching responses tailored to your data
  • Operating, maintaining, and improving the VOQE service
  • Communicating with you about your account, training, and product updates you have opted into
  • Providing customer support and responding to inquiries
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Complying with legal obligations under applicable law

We process your data within our AI coaching system (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to generate personalized recommendations. When we send your data to Claude for processing, only the relevant context for that specific coaching interaction is sent, and Anthropic does not retain this data for model training.

4. What We Do Not Do With Your Data

We want to be explicit about what we never do:

  • We do not sell your personal information or biometric data to anyone
  • We do not share your health data with advertisers or marketing networks
  • We do not use your health data for purposes beyond delivering the VOQE coaching service to you
  • We do not share data from Apple HealthKit with any third party for advertising or data brokerage, in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines
  • We do not share data received from WHOOP, Garmin, or other wearable platforms beyond the purposes you authorized

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only with the following categories of recipients:

Service providers we depend on to operate VOQE

Cloud hosting (Google Cloud, Vercel, Supabase), AI processing (Anthropic Claude API), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (transactional email provider), and analytics (privacy-respecting analytics tooling). These providers are contractually limited to processing data on our behalf for the specific services they provide.

Wearable platform integrations

When you connect a wearable, data flows from that platform to us. We do not push your data back to those platforms beyond what is required to maintain the integration.

Legal requirements

If required by valid legal process, we may disclose information to comply with applicable law, court orders, or government requests. We will notify you of such requests where legally permitted.

Business transfers

If VOQE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same protections described in this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and biometric data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records for tax compliance). Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for analytical purposes.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Disconnect any wearable integration at any time from the VOQE settings
  • Withdraw consent for specific processing activities

Residents of the UAE have rights under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP). 8. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), access controls limiting employee access to production data, security monitoring and incident response procedures, and secure credential management for wearable platform connections.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

9. International Data Transfers

VOQE operates from the UAE, with cloud infrastructure in regions including the UAE, India, and the United States depending on the service. By using VOQE, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own, and we apply appropriate safeguards for international transfers as required by applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

VOQE is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of VOQE after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
